OUR ADVISORY BOARD

 

Our Advisory Board members are comprised of highly qualified and experienced Education and Business professionals.  Their contributions to our organization are immeasurable.

Dr. Beverly Rohrer, Ed. D., Chair, Dr. Rohrer brings 50 years’ experience as an Educator and school Administrator.  She has served on the staff of the LA County Superintendent of Schools; member of the California State Board of Directors – FCMAT: member, the State Legislature and Department of Education Fine Arts Task Force and CTAP; Board member and Past President of LARISA; Founding Member, Board of Directors and Past President, LACOE and guest lecturer for the UCLA Principals’ Academy.

Nadine Ellwood, Educator and WASC Review board member, – Esperanza H.S., Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified S.D., 30 years’ experience as a teacher, Department Chair, and mentor.

Dr. Christine Hoffman, Ed. D, Superintendent, SoCal ROC – former teacher and school administrator. Dr. Hoffman brings more than 25 years of Education experience to our organization.

Dr. Jeffrey Lee, Ed. D, Asst. Professor, AZUSA Pacific University School of Education and lecturer on the Implementation of Technology.

Dr. Olivia LeBouf, Ed. D., Educator, Administrator LAUSD (ret.); 30 years an Educator, educational consultant and coach. A teacher, department chair, site administrator, district administrator, LACOE administrator, staff developer, and writer.

Dr. Lynn Winters, Ed. D., former Assistant Superintendent for Evaluation and Research for Long Beach Unified School District, Education consultant.

Angela Jones, Business Manager, Hermosa Beach City School District – Angela brings 30 years of School/District financial management experience and a solid understanding of cost management.

Nicole Thompson*, Educator, Palos Verdes Unified School Dist. – 15 years as a teacher, Director of the Acting program at the Coronado School of the Arts, and Staff Development program development.

Cathleen Togut, Executive V.P., The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  Cathleen has over 30 years’ experience as a Human Resources executive, working, developing and managing H. R. departments for both national and international firms and establishing organizational strategy.

Gary Wayland, CPA, 30+ years of management in financial services, during which he has been responsible for maintaining the service and financial relationships of numerous Civic and Educational organizations and non-profits.
