FUNDING & ALLOCATION OF FUNDS

EI1’s funding is derived from Grants, Donations and Membership Dues. The solicitation of Grants and Donations from both public and private sector sources, as well as facilitating the coordination and oversight of directed funding provide us with an ongoing financial base from which to develop and initiate programs.

Our imperative at EI1 is to maintain an allocation ratio of no less than 85/15 programs and services to administrative expenditures. This ratio not only sets out the organization’s distribution of funds dedicated to the delivery of programs and services, it ultimately defines our long-term performance goals and sets policy for the future.
